Our Management Team


Adam Murfitt – Managing Director


Adam is an experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the facilities services industry. Skilled in Operations Management, Customer Service, Strategic Planning, and Business Development.

Having graduated from Lancaster University with a degree in Organisational Behaviour he has always been self employed. An award winning Chem-Dry Franchise owner. Infrared Thermography; IRT ISO18436 Cert.


Jane Dalton – Marketing Director


Having attained a first class MBA from Cambridge University, Jane moved in to the world of brand strategy and innovation consultancy. From 2000-2006 she worked as a consultant and senior consultant at The Value Engineers (Cello Group).

Jane has been involved in the definition and development of household brands for companies such as Visa, Dulux, Unilever and Husqvarna for the past 17 years. Her experience covers strategic planning, new product development and qualitative market research.

Alongside her role as Marketing Director at Clear Trace, Jane is Founding Director of Groundswell Innovation and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Lancaster University, 2017 Times and Sunday Times University of the Year. She is also a volunteer Ambassador and Brand Director for Northern Power Women.

Hayden Newton – Patient Transport Consultant


Hayden Newton currently provides interim support and assistance to NHS and independent service providers throughout the UK. These have included, the States of Jersey Ambulance Service, South Central Ambulance Service, Arriva, the British Red Cross, Airwave solutions and the Thames Ambulance Group.

He was the Chief Executive Officer of the East of England Ambulance Service for 6 years until early 2013 when he retired. Whilst at EEAST he was the National Lead for Operations and has undertaken national assurance projects on winter planning, Pandemic Flu, and the London 2012 Olympic and Para-Olympic Games. In the New Year’s Honours in 2013, he was awarded the Queens ambulance medal for his commitment to the ambulance service.

Prior to his appointment, he was the National Implementation Lead at the Department of Health on the development and implementation of ambulance performance standards. He joined Kent Ambulance Service, in 2002 and he was instrumental in introducing a service improvement programme, which helped the Trust gain 3-star status in 2004/5 from the Healthcare Commission. He has also been Chairman of the Association of Air Ambulances, President of the British Association of Public Communication Officers and Interim Chief Executive of the Ambulance Service Association.

Whilst in Scotland he held several Senior Management positions in the Scottish Ambulance Service and he was also responsible for the Integrated Air Ambulance Service across Scotland. His career in the Ambulance Service started in Cambridgeshire on Operational frontline duties before moving to the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Jake Cocker – Digital Consultant


Jake Cocker was one of the founders of Fat Media, a North West award winning digital agency. He is now Managing Director at OnDemand Projects a primary partner for ClearTrace, helping them develop their digital and software offering to their clients.

His expertise in project management and digital development gives ClearTrace a cutting edge unique service to help remotely manage the ClearTrace workforce as well as the client’s staff when required.

Richard Dean – Operations & Franchise Manager


Richard began his career in hospitality upon leaving school. Working his way up the management chain he soon became the operations manager of a 5-star hotel in the Lake District, he was general manager of a 4-star inn in Keswick and finally was multi-site manager for Costa Coffee. Whilst working for Costa Coffee Richard worked closely with the franchisee overseeing new store openings.

Now he has joined the ClearTrace team Richards role is Operations and Franchise Manager, he is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the business, managing HR and working with clients to meet their requirements on all levels.

Richards skills that he has gained from a franchise background are a vital part of his role within ClearTrace, he is able to work with us and potential franchisees to help us grow. The knowledge and abilities Richard has brought with him from Costa and other hospitality roles are fundamental when working with the ClearTrace brand.
